Why are the Rams and Bengals still considered elite?

The first quarter of the nfl season has come to a close, and a lot of people really believe that these two teams who played in the super bowl last season have really good chances to return back to the game? Why is that? Is it because of the talent of players like Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, Jamar Chase etc. Have you really watched a game this year and been wowed by these teams? So far I can't say I have?

Look around the power rankings today on your well known sites. Who do you see in almost every top ten? Those two teams who played in last year super bowl. Do you really believe they have played like top ten teams this season? Maybe it's quick to jump on them because it's early but it's really hard to say that they'll be progressing anytime soon. Both offensive lines look like literal 15 minutes after eating Taco Bell. Dallas made Cincinnati look silly and San Fran had Matthew Stafford look like me playing quarterback out there. And the question to answer how will it improve ? Over time maybe the offensive lines will grow some continuity from playing with one another but man it's been a rough go about it. The offenses are what suppose To make these teams shine, and so far I'd say both teams have disappointed and have showed promise to return back to the playoffs at the moment.

On another note, since we're talking bout these teams touted so high. Why are the Chargers RANKED HIGH AS 3 in these power rankings.

In the picture above there are 3 teams ranked 3-5

3. Chargers

4. Bengals

5. Chiefs

CHIEFS LITERALLY JUST BEAT THE CHARGERS WEEK 2! Where is the logic in this?

In reality look at the records and look how teams have played against the weak and the strong teams in the NFL. Every power ranking should be based off what is currently going on not a projection. And that should include either Buffalo, Philly, or Kansas City as your top tier of teams, AKA super bowl favorites. Them 3 separate from themselves and the rest of the league should be aware. Also Chargers losing to Cleveland this week BOOK IT. Go Cowboys and god bless
